News from Academics

You can now sign up for Coach Osborne's driving class online at gorebs.org Click on online payments and sign up there.Classes will start January 8th after school.

Sports News:

Track and Field tryouts continue today directly after school on the track. You must have your paperwork completed in order to try out. Any questions, please see Coach Walker in room 5210.
Boys soccer will be in action again today in the Airline tournament and Girls soccer will be at Franklin Parish. Tuesday, the Girls will be at home vs Haughton, and Boys will be at Benton. And next Thursday, Boys soccer will be at West Ouachita.
Boys’ basketball will be against OCS today, and our girls will also be taking on OCS. Both teams will be at the Walker tourney tomorrow. On Monday, they’ll be at Delhi, and they’ll be at home vs Jonesboro Hodge on the following Wednesday, and at Carroll on that Thursday..

Club and Organization News:

The Ag and Sign classes have combined forces for this year’s annual plant sale today and tomorrow December 14th and 15th from 8:30-2:30 pm in the main lobby of the school. The sale will feature Amaryllis Christmas flowers as well as Poinsettias and Christmas Cactus. The sign shop will sell Christmas signs, sports signs, and stickers. See Mr. Kavanuagh for more information.

If any students are in need of any clothes or hygiene products, please fill out the care closet google form or see Mrs. Johnson in student services or Katie Boutwell in 1222.
The Band concert is Tonight at 7 in the auditorium. Show up and enjoy our final Christmas concert for the music program.
English Latino Leadership Society has an obligatory club meeting January 11 in the library immediately after school. If you are not in the google classroom for the club, make sure to see Ms. Eason in room 1113 this week. This week there is a link up to order club T-shirts and it’s only open until January 1st. Once it closes, no additional T-shirts will be ordered. Continuously check google classroom in the following days. The shirts will be ready by the meeting on January 11th.
